CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

NURSERY: Our nursery is re-organizing and is not open at this time. However, if you would like to use the nursery during mass, it is available. You must stay with your child. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED! We will re-open in August and will need volunteers. Please consider helping. The more volunteers the smaller the commitment for everyone.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM is available to all 3, 4, and 5 years olds not yet in Kindergarten during the 10am mass. This program will end this week, but return in August. VOLUNTEERS are needed. If you love to work with children, we want you on our team. No prior experience is necessary. Contact Qaren (Karen) Jacklich at 624-5767. The more volunteers the smaller the commitment for everyone.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY of the WORD will end this week, but return in August. This is a liturgy of the Word for children ages 5 years old through 2nd grade. Please consider being part of this team. The commitment is 30 minutes during the 10/11am mass about every 6 weeks.

RELGIOUS EDUCATION for grades Kindergarten – 11th grade will begin on September 9th. Thank you to the adults who volunteered to be catechists for 2007-2008 and help hand-on our faith to our children.
One lead catechist and several adult assistants are still needed.

REGISTRATION FORMS for Religious Education 2007-2008 are available on the welcome table. If you have not registered your child/children, please do so. Class will start with an Open House on September 9th at 9:15am. Any child preparing to receive a sacrament must be involved in a religious education program through their Catholic School or their Parish. Contact Amy Woods at 625-6763 for more information.
