Bread for the World Offering of Letters 2021
This year’s Bread for the World Offering of Letters will be held during the month of May. It builds on last year’s work as Bread members continue to urge Congress to expand anti-hunger programs in response to the pandemic and increase funding for nutrition programs.
Please consider writing a letter or letters to your Congressman or woman and/or Senators.
You can write a letter – or two or three (one to each Senator and one to your Congressman or woman) by using the sample letter available on the parish website at www.sacredheartnorfolk.org as a guide, and mail it to the addresses also included on our site.
You can also e-mail a letter by going to the Bread for the World Website http://www.bread.org clicking on “Write to Congress” and following the instructions there.
After you send your letters, please provide your name and the name of your Congressman or woman and/or Senators you contacted, to mpstark@aol.com for tabulation.
